SHILOH’S PRAYER & FASTING

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

A Day of Fasting & Praying!

Wednesday, October 9th, 2024

6:00 AM - 3:00 PM —- Liquids Only

6am:

Scripture:   Proverbs 3:5-6

Praying for:  Clarity & Direction

Give me the strength and clarity of mind to find my purpose and walk the path you've laid out for me. I trust your Love God, and know that you will heal this stress. Just as the sun rises each day against the dark of night. Please bring me clarity with the light of God.

Strength

“The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: Therefore, my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.” Psalms 27:8

7am:

The Jericho Prayer

Heavenly Father, just as you used Joshua to lead the Israelites, Lord, let the Holy Spirit lead us in this time of prayer and fasting.  Give us the instructions for our victory just like you did for Joshua equip us, Lord, with power and strength.  Give us the courage to overcome what is standing in front of us.  Lead the way.  We know it’s not by our power, but by You and through You, that we will destroy the walls in our life.  Lord, we are standing on Your promises.  We believe and trust in You.  In Jesus name, amen.

8am:

Scripture:  Ecclesiastes 3:1; Isaiah 43:19

Praying for:  Recognizing the need for change

Faithful Father, who offers stable love and a grounding presence, help me navigate this change. In the midst of uncertainty, give me confidence in your abiding presence. Help my sense of real loss at what was, not disrupt the potential of new relationships and new opportunities.

Lord, I know that change can be overwhelming and scary at times, but I also understand that change is often necessary for us to grow and become the people you have called us to be. Sometimes change is essential to accomplish all that You desire.

9am:

Psalm133

How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!  It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe.  It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion.  For there the Lord bestows his blessing even life forevermore.

10am:

Scriptures: Prayer Scriptures: (Matthew 6:9-13; Philippians 4:6-7; 1 John 5:14; Mark 11:22; Matthew 6:6-8; Matthew 18:19-20; James 5:13-18; Luke 5:15-16; Romans 8:26-27; Luke 11:9-13) – Finance Scriptures: (Hebrews 11:6; Luke 6:38; I Corinthians 2:9) – Family: (Malachi 4:5-6); Spiritual Life: (John 14:21)

Praying for:  Prayer

Please give me your Holy Spirit now that I may be alive in You.  Give me Your Spirit, Lord, that I can have strength to please You in all things. Create in me a new heart. I devote my life to You now.

11 am:

Joshua 1:8-9

Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Noon:

Scripture:  Luke 15:7-10

Prayer for:  Repentance

Lord, I am truly sorry for my transgressions and I ask for Your merciful forgiveness. Cleanse me from all unrighteousness and create in me a pure heart. Renew a steadfast spirit within me. I reject the ways of sin and darkness and turn wholeheartedly back to You, my Lord and Savior.

1pm:

Matthew 6:16-18

16 “When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 17 But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, 18 so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you

2pm:

Scriptures:  John 15:5, Psalm 63:1, James 4:8, Matthew 6:33, Psalm 119:105, Jeremiah 29:13, Proverbs 3:5-6, Colossians 3:16, Hebrews 4:12, Philippians 4:6-7, John 10:10

Praying for:  Intimacy

Thank You, dear heavenly Father, for caring about my most intimate thoughts and the desires of my heart. Grow my passion for prayer and spending time with You. Help me to cherish my times with You, no matter what is going on in my life. Help me to stay where You want me to be.

Developing intimacy with God is essential for you and your journey in life. It requires a personal and close relationship with God, built on the expectation and belief that God, can and will listen to you. But, more importantly, God desires to have a deep and personal relationship with you, that is one of the main reasons you have received life.

3pm:

Jeremiah 29:11

Praying for your plan:

Father God we thank you for your plan for us:

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

Amen!
